Trained as a psychologist in the United States, Regina brings with her a wealth of experience from various mental health settings including hospitals, community clinics, university counselling centres, substance abuse rehabilitation units, and child assessment centres. Through working with people across the lifespan over a range of clinical issues, Regina has developed a passion for assisting those with emotional concerns and a history of trauma. She is committed to helping people to heal from relational trauma and to flourish in their lives.

Regina grew up in Hong Kong, obtained her Bachelor degree from the United Kingdom, her Masters degree in counselling and her Doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the United States. Having undergone multiple cultural transitions at various stages of her life – first as a teenage overseas student in the UK, then as a working mother of a young family in Australia, an expatriate trailing spouse turned professional in China, as well as a mature-aged student and clinician in the U.S., Regina is particularly adept at working with couples and families challenged by adjusting to different cultural values.

Being fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, Regina can often work with parents and young people in different languages based on their needs. She has a warm, engaging and gentle manner and can skillfully guide her clients towards their best selves so that they can best achieve their goals.
