Paulina is a registered counsellor and psychotherapist and is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Paulina has a long-standing passion for understanding how the mind works and helping others to feel understood, supported, and accepted. She welcomes her clients’ struggles with caring presence and deep compassion when they enter the therapy space.

While applying an evidence-based framework, Paulina strives to create a warm, empathic, and non-judgemental environment where clients can feel safe to explore and express their lived experience. She holds a fundamental belief that all individuals are unique and takes a holistic approach in her sessions to incorporate the most suitable therapeutic interventions. By keeping her clients in unconditional positive regard, she facilitates healing and transformation so her clients can reach their best potential.

Paulina has a special interest in couple/relationship therapy and enjoys working collaboratively with them. Her aim is to foster safe relationships in which partners can ease discomfort and better manage distress while building deep connections. Paulina also has experience providing client care to individuals with a variety of presentations such as anxiety, low mood, self-harm, emotional dysregulation, and complex trauma. She helps clients to dive safely into their experience while paying close attention to their inner world and she supports their exploration and self-acceptance.

Paulina has lived and worked in Australia, the UK and Europe, and feels privileged to have connected with complex and diverse populations in a meaningful way, and on a deeper level. She feels comfortable to be in a therapeutic space with those of diverse gender, family structures, culture and language and strives to create safety and acceptance for all her clients.
