Xin Tong believes that attachment relationships are often where the deepest wounds are formed, but they are also where healing occurs. She strives to create a warm and safe therapeutic relationship, providing a secure base from which clients can explore their inner world and how their past experiences shape the present. Xin Tong integrates attachment-focused therapeutic modalities, including emotionally focused therapy, schema therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. She believes that therapy can support individuals in breaking patterns that no longer serve them and create new possibilities for relating to the self and others.
Xin Tong has an interest in working with the following:
- Trauma and complex trauma
- Attachment injuries and relationship/family distress
- Depression, anxiety, and other mood-related issues
